”My love of art began when I was tiny and I drew and painted throughout my childhood.
I attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, graduating with
a BA in Advertising Art. After a long career in the printing industry (during which
I continued to paint in my spare time), I retired and now pursue my lifelong interest
My work consists primarily of landscapes and seascapes. Watercolors are my medium
of choice, although I occasionally work in pastels as well. Working both on-site
and in my studio, I try to capture the beauty around us, while infusing the paintings
with what I feel when viewing that particular scene. Growing up with family vacations
spent camping has given me an appreciation of nature that has followed me throughout
my life. Since the subject matter is endless, I plan on being fascinated for years
to come, presenting my visions for others to enjoy."
